ARLINGTON, Va. -- The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency
plans to launch a Web portal to information and resources about environmental compliance, pollution prevention and other green issues specific to retailers, the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) said.

"Sustainability is a key issue and a top concern for RILA and our member companies," said Casey Chroust, RILA's senior vice president for retail operations. "This portal will serve as a clearinghouse for information to further advance the industry's efforts to apply sustainable practices."
