Farmer Jim Koan is using two dozen pigs to keep the pest population in his 120 acres organic apple orchard down.

This technique is called integrated pest management and it uses safer ways to control pests. In this case the pigs eat fallen apples and digest the beetle larvae before they can cause harm.
