Following the tsunami that claimed more than 250,000 lives on December 26, 2004, CHF International has partnered with more than a dozen private-sector and public-sector partners to help hundreds of thousands of affected families rebuild and recover. Focusing on bridging the gap from immediate relief to long-term recovery, these partnerships have allowed CHF to rebuild permanent homes and restore economic activity for thousands across Aceh.
